Windy Joules

A kit originally developed for a project in the Australian Outback. Used to measure how much energy can be obtained from the natural environment in terms of solar and wind power.

  • measures light level in milliwatts per square centimetre
  • measures wind speed in revolutions per second
  • logs light or wind values every 15 minutes over 24 hours
  • calculates peak and average values
  • can also be used as a simple anemometer

Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for plotting light levels & wind speeds and calculating 'available power'.

Out of stock in the UK but my colleague in Australia has stock.
Please contact Adam Selinger directly for sales.
